Compact | Precise | Impossibly Beautiful

This handmade Damascus skinner is built for those who want a knife that performs flawlessly in the field and looks extraordinary doing it. At 9.9 inches overall with a 5.4 inch drop point blade, this is the ideal size for hunting, skinning, field dressing, and everyday outdoor carry, compact enough to handle with precision, capable enough to handle any task.

And the Damascus pattern on this blade is something special. The circular teardrop pattern  created during the forging process by twisting and manipulating the layered steel is one of the most visually striking Damascus patterns our craftsmen produce. Every blade is completely unique.

Damascus Steel — The Circular Teardrop Pattern
Not all Damascus patterns are the same. While many Damascus blades show a standard wave or ladder pattern, this knife features a circular teardrop pattern — achieved by additional twisting and manipulation of the layered steel billet during forging.

The result is a blade covered in flowing circular and oval forms that catch the light differently from every angle. It is one of the most labour-intensive Damascus patterns to produce and one of the most visually rewarding to own.

Our Damascus blades are forge-welded from multiple types of high-carbon steel delivering:

  • Exceptional edge retention from the hard steel layers
  • Outstanding toughness and flexibility from the softer layers
  • A razor-sharp single edge that is easy to maintain
  • Significant collectible and heirloom value
  • A pattern that is genuinely unique to your blade

The Blade — Drop Point Design
The drop point is the most trusted blade shape among hunters and skinners worldwide. The spine curves gently and continuously down to a strong, controllable tip — ideal for skinning game, field dressing, and precision cutting without risk of puncturing organs or losing control of the tip.

At 5.4 inches this blade is perfectly sized for:

  • Skinning and field dressing game of all sizes
  • Precise camp and food preparation tasks
  • Everyday outdoor carry and general use
  • Display and collecting

The Bolster — Matching Damascus Steel
The bolster on this knife is forged from the same Damascus steel as the blade  carrying the circular pattern from blade to handle in a seamless, unbroken transition. This level of material consistency is a mark of genuine craftsmanship and attention to detail that separates a truly handmade knife from a production piece.

Full Tang Construction — Why It Matters
Full tang means the Damascus steel runs the complete length of the knife, from blade tip through the Damascus bolster and the entire stag horn handle. One solid, continuous piece of steel. No weak joints. No risk of separation under hard use.

The Handle — Natural Stag Horn
Natural stag horn is one of the most sought-after handle materials in the world of fine knives. Harvested from naturally shed deer antler, every piece is completely unique in colour, texture, and shape ranging from pale cream to rich dark brown with natural mottling throughout.

The natural ridges and texture of the stag horn provide an exceptionally secure grip even in wet conditions. Over time the handle develops a rich patina that makes your knife increasingly personal and distinctive.

This handle will never look exactly like any other knife you own. That is the nature of natural stag horn and the reason collectors prize it so highly.

Every Knife Is One of a Kind
Both the Damascus blade pattern and the stag horn handle are natural and unique, no two knives from our workshop are ever identical. The knife you receive will have its own completely individual pattern, colour, and character. This is the signature of genuine handmade craft.
