A clean, unadorned satin D2 steel blade that tapers to a precise centred tip with no unnecessary width, no coating, no distraction. The spear point on this blade is an unusual and deliberate choice for a large outdoor blade. Rather than the broad, heavy profiles typical of large hunting knives and machetes, this blade tapers elegantly from a wide base to a fine, centred tip — creating a profile that combines the reach of a large blade with the precision of a much smaller knife.

The handle on this hunting sword is crafted from deep red rosewood, the richest and most intensely coloured variety of rosewood we use across our collection. The dark reddish-brown tones with natural grain variation create a handle that is visually striking against the clean satin blade and warm brass fittings.

Rosewood at this density is naturally oily and self-maintaining. It resists moisture absorption, temperature changes, and hard use without requiring sealing or treatment. The 6 inch handle length provides a full, comfortable two-handed grip when the situation demands it — useful on a 14 inch blade during heavy camp tasks.

The brass spacer bolster at the blade-handle junction and the matching brass pommel cap ring frame the rosewood beautifully warm gold tones against deep red wood, a combination that gives this hunting sword a refined, almost ceremonial quality that makes it as impressive on a wall as in the field.
